“The Doors Of The Church Are Open”

“Then they will reply, Lord when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and did not help you? And He will answer, I tell you the truth when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help Me.” Mathew 25: 44-45.

Merrick Boulevard, Saint Albans Park, Sayers Avenue, Baisley Park, Baisley Boulevard, Archer Avenue, Sutphin Boulevard, Jamaica Ave, Rufus King’s Park and all areas in between are the locations covered by our phenomenal Street Team Ministry.

Every Saturday after prayer armed with The Word Of God in Their Heart, A prayer on their lips and a Tract in their hands Allen’s Street Team, Ministers to all they come in contact with. We want to take this time out now to thank Rev. Julia Russell, Evangelist Delores Prescott, and Rev. Arlise Carson for conducting our yearly workshops and training sessions this year.

Last year we reported that our soup kitchen served over 21,000 meals, this year we served over 22,000. An increase of over a thousand new faces. Last year we reported that our Food Pantry Serviced over 84,000 individuals this year we serviced over 95,000 and our numbers continue to grow so much so that we may have to add additional pantry hours.

Folks may wonder why in the world The Mega Ministry of The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral keeps its doors open. Our answer to that question can be found in the Gospel according to Matthew 5:14 which reads this way, You are the light of the world. You cannot hide a city that has been built on a mountain.

Testimony - “Thank you again because of The Greater Allen A.M.E Cathedral of New York’s Food Pantry my family was able to have dinner every night last month. My food Stamps do not go all the way to the end of the month but the food we receive from the Church helps. My family lives in a Multi-generational dwelling. Because of hard times there are three generations living in one apartment. Thanks again.” - a partaker of Allen’s Food pantry
